The Seattle IWW has represented administrative and custodial workers at the Central Coop since 2002. Over the years the IWW has consistently made gains through both collective action and collective bargaining. In 2017 the workers in IU 660 at Central Coop ratified their latest contract.
We are happy to talk with workers who fall under the 660 jurisdiction, which we define as all workers in general distribution facilities, wholesale and retail, about improving their working conditions. The IWW has had significant experience organizing the industry since 1999, with campaigns at Starbucks, Whole Foods, and more. The IWW represents many grocery workers throughout the country.
